The ELM-VOC is a proprietary bonded and crosslinked intermediate polarity capillary column developed specifically for the analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It is a direct equivalent to DB-502.2, HP-VOC, VOCOL, Rtx-502.2, and Rtx-Volatile phases, making it a reliable replacement for methods developed on those columns. The thicker film options provide excellent retention of highly volatile compounds, making it well suited to trace level residual solvent analysis.
Applications
The ELM-VOC is designed for residual solvent analysis across multiple industries. In cannabis and hemp testing, it is used for residual solvent screening where regulatory limits on extraction solvents must be demonstrated. In food analysis, it is validated for residual solvent testing in food packaging materials. In pharmaceutical analysis, it performs well for residual solvent testing to ICH Q3C guidelines.
